Royal Avebe felt the need to work even more efficiently in production. Jan Spijkerman, Manufacturing IT manager at Avebe, explains: “Within the production domain, corrective actions were often required and the reporting was not always accurate. On the location in Ter Apelkanaal there are several factories. Each factory has several lines for filling bags and big bags. The pallets are provided with a pallet label and are transported by AGVs to a central point. Here the pallets are provided with a stretch hood and two SSCC pallet labels. The pallets go to one of the warehouses via conveyor belts.
